I met this lovely Glossop couple over a year before their wedding day and they spoke about the low key, relaxed wedding day that they wanted. It’s always refreshing to hear this from a young couple as it can be easy for people to get swept away with what they think their wedding day should be like, instead of doing what they want.
I had shot a wedding at Ringwood Hall before, so was really looking forward to the day and knew if the weather held out we would be able to get some great shots from being outside in the gorgeous gardens.
The day came and we were lucky that the weather was dry and threatened rain but it held out for us which was fab. The bride when I arrived, was unusually calm and serene, which is always a sign that things will be relaxed throughout the day. Everyone was calm, so it was a very easy going crowd which makes my job so much easier!
The venue didn’t fail to impress, with great help from all their staff, especially John their MC who lead the day beautifully and helped it along the journey of the day. From the ceremony to the cutting of the cake, the day went by as quickly as wedding days do, but smoothly and without a hitch.
Everyone had a great time, and for me Kerrie and Tom’s wedding day will be remembered for bouncy children, beautiful gardens and a chilled vibe.
